GENERAL CONDITIONS.

J.T. Pickfords Ltd reserve all rights to modify, change, alter or update terms and information, and you agree to be bound by the modifications made. We have taken the upmost care in making sure all product information, colours and prices are correct. We cannot guarantee the colour/appearance of goods. This will vary according to the resolution of the print and screen type of your computer, and for that reason, all sizes quoted are approximate. All products are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to change prices and information without prior notice. All prices are shown in £ Sterling and are suggested selling prices inc VAT @ 17.5%. We reserve all rights to withdraw any product from the Brochure/Website or Showroom. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any product, or content of the brochure/web site, refusing or suspending any transaction after processing has begun. In the event a product has been listed at an incorrect price by error of information given at the time, or Tax or Duty changes, we will have the right to refuse and correct any of the products involved, whether or not the order has been confirmed by us. If your credit/debit card has been charged, we will cancel your order, and immediately issue a credit to your card to the value of the incorrect price, which will also include delivery charges. And you will have the option to purchase the item again at the correct price. Working days mean everyday of the year except Saturdays, Sundays, English statutory days and public holidays.

DELIVERIES

We endeavour to deliver to you as it was arranged. However, delivery could still be delayed due to circumstances beyond our control. We shall not be liable for any loss or damage from delay in delivery or non delivery. Do not arrange installers/plumbers until you have received and checked your goods. This will avoid any disappointments. Delivery times are as agreed between us and you, and not any third parties. Deliveries are made to the nearest hard road/public highway. If any location is in a remote area (i.e. Scottish Highlands). We will only deliver goods to the address on the order, and to the door, not to bring them into the property or install them. Where your order comprises of bulky and heavy items, assistance must be made available to our drivers to offload. In the event that no assistance is available, we will not be in a position to offload the goods, and we will charge a fee of 15% of the price of the goods for re-delivery. Where assistance to offload goods is not necessary, and you have requested that the goods be left at your property, then they will be left at your own risk. If in doubt, this means as soon as the goods have been left at the property/delivery address, any loss or damage shall be at your own risk. Upon delivery of a product, you should immediately inspect the goods. If the product(s) is damaged, or there are shortages please contact us immediately (i.e. within 72 hours). If you sign for goods, even if you write the words “unchecked”, then you are accepting that the goods arrived without any obvious external damage, and later claims will not be accepted. If you allow anyone else to sign for goods on your behalf, you agree to advice them that items must be checked and, you agree to accept responsibility for any loss or damage incurred.

RETURNS POLICY

Returns must only be made with a completed returns form. You must E/Mail J.T. Pickfords Ltd (jtpickfords@googlemail.com) and request this form and reference number. Do not return any items without the returns number, as this will result in administration charges. We will only exchange or refund products that are returned with 14 days of purchase, along with proof of purchase. Products must be in original packaging & condition and not been installed in any way. This does not apply to special orders or ex-display products as they are non-refundable. Some orders which are cancelled may incur a 20% handling charge. This is in addition to your statutory rights.

RETURNS – FAULTY GOODS

All products that are supplied by J.T. Pickfords Ltd, carry a manufacturers guarantee of 12 months. Some manufacturers may give a longer guarantee. Any manufacturers guarantees are not backed by J.T. Pickfords Ltd. We pass on guarantee and manufacturers warranties in good faith, and they form no part of your contract with J.T. Pickfords Ltd.. If the manufacturer becomes insolvent the guarantee is lost. Most manufacturers provide an after sales team of engineers who will come out and fix any problems that you may have with their products. If this type of service exists, we would provide you with the telephone numbers, which will speed up the process by you dealing with them direct. If you are not satisfied with the service they provide, please contact us and we will do our best to resolve any problems you may have. If the product(s) is returned and has been installed and used for any period of time, and no faults have been found, you will not be refunded and the product will be returned to you. Do not remove any installed item unless authorised by a member of J.T.Pickfords staff.

Without prejudice to statutory rights, J.T.Pickfords are not responsible for materials and information on the site. They are provided on a “as is” basis, with no warranty. J.T. Pickfords Ltd. are not technical experts in any field, and all technical queries should be directed to a professional in that particular field, and therefore, no responsibility for damage caused by your reliance on any other advise will not be accepted, including warranties.
